waiting another day

The ultrasound and monitoring done by the hospital and midwife clinic showed that everything is in great shape with Bethany.  The fluid level is at a perfect spot, Bethany's physically fine, and Celeste's contractions are normal and consistant right now coming about every 5-6 minutes.  But because they aren't real painful(Celeste barely feels them sometimes), they said we could wait a few more days to see if she will come on her own.  They are set to induce labor on Wednesday (the 11th).  We would check into the hospital at 8 am and go from there.  They said labor could take anywhere from 6 to 24 hours.  It just depends on the individual cause every case is different.  Our next door neighbor, who is the head of the Nurse Midwife Clinic, offered to be the one to help us deliver.  Normally she's only on call a couple days a month, but she said she would make an exception for us this time which is really nice.  Of course, Bethany can still come on her own anytime up until Wednesday.  God has truely had his hand in this the whole way and I fully expect it to stay that way through the birth.  Rejoice with us as we welcome Bethany into this world sometime in the next few days.
